My cousin Christy inspired me to make sure the little details are meaningful details by wearing our grandmother's bracelet and attaching the brooch to Kimbrell's bouquet. Our grandmother, Mama Chris, is recovering from back surgery so she could not be there but her presence was definitely recognized by these special pieces that she purchased in the 1940s.
If I can successfully create one, I am going to use a few family brooches on my bouquet. Even if I can't make a whole bouquet of them work, I will attach a few meaningful ones.
